Breakfast is my favorite meal. I love going to different breakfast places
every now and then and try new dishes.
Today I met up with a friend and went for breakfast in Brossard at The
Breakfast Club. I had never been there
before but she suggested that we go there since she goes there often. I was really craving brioche but they didn’t
have it on the menu. The waitress who
was serving us was very friendly so I asked her if they would have
brioche. To my surprise she said they
did but its not in the menu as its considered a side order. I told her I just wanted warm brioche with bananas
and lots of English cream. She checked
with the kitchen and said no problem. It
definitely made my day. I was really
looking forward to it but was not content when I got my meal. Brioche was not warm enough and was to
dry. I did manage to get extra English
cream but it still was not what I was hoping for. And now I am still craving for warm brioche
with bananas and English cream. I am
hoping to go for breakfast again soon at some other place and hopefully will
find something to fulfill my craving. At
The Breakfast Club the service was amazing but I was just not content with
food. I do plan to go back and try
something different, maybe something they already have on their menu to get the
real taste of their food.

Elixor_Brossard
So recently I went to Elixor Restaurant at their new
location in Dix30 in Brossard, Quebec.
Beautiful restaurant and amazing service but its all about the food for
me. So I was in a mood for something
delicious and filling but leaving some space for desert. Their menu has many options and something for
everyone. I was in a mood for tuna, so I
ordered Grilled Sesame Tuna Rare, well-done, from their Fish and Seafood
section. It was not exactly what I had
expected. It was tasty but not
necessarily filling. It came with white
rice and vegetables, but was very dry so I didn’t eat that part.
I was also in a mood for some desert, so I ordered, Big
Bill’s Barbarous Pie. And let me tell
you, it was beyond delicious. It totally
made up for the tuna that I didn’t really enjoy. Yummy Yummy! And the hot fudge
and almonds on the cake just made it all better. I would go back just for
this desert.
So next time you are at the restaurant, make sure to have
this desert for sure.

Portovino_Cannoli_Montreal
Desert always brings a smile on everyone’s face. Next time
you are in Montreal, make sure to visit Portovino Ristorante and try the best
Cannoli in town. Just like the menu
describes it, sweet creamy ricotta with chocolate chips stuffed in a crispy
shell. By far is it one of the best
cannoli’s I have ever had and is definitely worth every cent.
Introduction
A lot of my friends tell me that I should start my own blog
because I love to talk and share my experiences. But, I kept asking myself one question, “What
can I blog about?” To narrow down my
topic I kept thinking about what do I like the most and what is it that people
ask me about the most. There were many
different topics that crossed my mind, but then there were two things that made
the most sense...Food and Travel. I love
food, and I love to travel! I don’t
travel as much as I want to but when I do, I make the most of it and love to
talk about it to help other people plan their travel. I don’t eat meat but enjoy everything else
that I eat and am always willing to try new dishes. Through this blog I will share my experiences
and hope that I can help people make some best choices from the menu at the
restaurants and offer some travel tips.
I am always open to feedback from people who read my blog and am willing
to take suggestions of any new restaurants they want me to visit and share my
experiences.
